The UK universities are inspected regularly by QAA to assess the standard of teaching, learning and research to ensure that relevant subject discipline benchmarks are met etc. This means your higher education qualifications are recognized globally.

Part time work opportunity - Work up to 20 hours per week in term time when school is in session and full-time during vacation periods (up to 40 hours per week).
Graduate Route - International students who graduate in the summer 2021 or later are eligible to apply for a Post-Study work visa which allows them to live and work in the UK for up to 2 years upon graduation.

University Application

1. Copy of passport - Photo page and address + Next of Kin details
2. Copies of academic documents – mark sheets and transcripts; Please note copy of certificates issued by awarding body; like TU, PU,
3. Some universities need two Reference letters; both academic or one academic and another professional. Academic reference can be from a teacher/lecturer/director/ campus chief/principal in a letter head. Professional can be from an employer where s/he works in a company letter head. They need to be in company letter head, stamped and signed from concerned person.
4. If student has got study gap; related experience needs to be submitted. There is no hard and fast rule regarding the gap.
5. A CV sometimes is needed – I have attached a sample copy
6. Personal Statement
7. Copy of IELTS certificate – Exempted if a latest degree is done in the country where the majority of people speak English; like UK, Australia, Canada, USA and so on. Requirements: 5.5 in each band and overall 6.0 for Bachelor degree and some universities demand 5.5 in each band but 6.5 in overall for master. 4.5 – 5.0 can go for university foundation program; one year and proceed to Bachelor degree
8. Some universities can conduct Skype or direct telephone interview and some can do the same after Offer letter is issued.
9. Maintenance fund - £11,385 (£1,265 for 9 months) + any first year fee outstanding, needs to show for 28 days. So needs a copy of bank statement and a balance certificate. In many cases, source of fund may need to show; 10. Sponsorship declaration; if the fund is in parents account. In this case student needs to submit his/her birth certificate
11. TB screening from UKVI approved centre; It is in Baluwatar, Kathmandu, or details can be provided later
12. Police Report – no criminal record.
